About: I was born and raised in a little stone house in West Asheville, and have been a barista since I was sixteen. I've seen many sides of the coffee industry, from small local shops to Starbucks and back. During my recent time in Australia I had the privilege of being set straight concerning espresso by Rob Forsyth, former WBC judge and current member of the WBC Certification Committee. There's an insane amount of things yet to learn concerning the almighty bean, but I feel my nine years in the industry have laid a great foundation and taught me what (and what not) to do.
